When we first started giving these to our daughters we had to keep a very close eye on them(as with any solid food) because sometimes they would start choking and we would have to stick our fingers in their mouths and get these out.
These do 'dissolve' pretty easily but your baby may take a little getting used to eating them like mine did. But in no time they knew how to eat these with OUT choking. I think at first they were just trying to swallow them before they got wet and 'dissolved'.
We have bought Walmart Store Brand & these Gerber Puffs. Walmart Brand is Good but Gerber brand is GREAT! The Gerber Puffs are bigger making them easier for tiny fingers to pick them up, yet they are still a small enough size for them to eat. Walmart Brand have a lot of broken pieces so many of the pieces are tiny and my girls can't pick them up to eat them, I don't know that I have ever found a broken Gerber piece. Puff are what I call Baby Crack. They aren't bad for your kid and is always a quick and easy snack. This flavor isn't our favorite but still one my son enjoys.

I got them when on sale so better price than off-brands. They taste great my daughter loves them. Toddler must have! Get the off-brand though like parentschoice or up and up if not on sale though cuz they are the same thing taste just the same just not as pretty packaging.

I purchased several packs of Sprout Organic baby food at a local store recently. I've used several different brands organic baby foods so far and the Sprout items have been my least favorite. The food is difficult to get out. If you're saving some of the package in the fridge for later you will have food in the zip seam and around the mouth of the package that will not be properly covered/stored (even if you try wiping it away).
In addition, several of the batches I bought had food on the inside stuck to the lining as if it had been baked too long within the package. Those parts were gummy and tinged a different color than the rest of the food in the package. I threw those out just to be on the safe side.
While it tasted fine to me and my non-picky baby ate it happily, I was terribly frustrated with the whole experience and felt like it was a big waste of money. If he ate the entire package I might have felt differently since I wouldn't have to store the messy... Read more

I really love these. My son loves sweet potato, and I love being able to serve him white beans. This tastes great.
Like others have said, the packaging sort of sucks. It seemed like a really great idea at first to have these resealable pouches, but the reality is that its really messy to get the spoon in and out, and even to seal shut. But I could really live with that. The reason I think I'm not going to order any more of these is that they really are too small. They are only 3.5 ounces, which is smaller than the amount my baby usually eats (4 ounce jars). And really, I think its even smaller than that. He eats 2 of these at a sitting usually, which means its about double the cost of other jars to me. I wish these came in larger sizes for stage 2 (how about 4.5 ounces?). He doesn't like the Sprout stage 3 pouches yet, too much texture for him now. But since the Stage 2 ones are too small, we won't be ordering any more Sprout for a while.

My 3.5 year old LOVES this product in all varieties, but I am very disappointed that the product contains NO vitamin A or vitamin C. I guess they have to heat treat it to make it shelf-stable, and that destroys the vitamins. All he's getting is flavor!

We like this product and recommend it. I was hoping to buy it in bulk here on Amazon (48 pack!), but it seems Target still offers it for less... here in Portland, OR, at least. I found it to be about an $8-10.00 difference.

My 20 month son loves these pouches. We call them "squeezers" and any time I ask him if he wants one he gets extremely excited and says, "yeah yeah yeah!!"
At less than half the price of Revolution Foods and Plum organics versions, these are a great alternative. I realize these are not organic, but they are all natural and there is no added sugar, so I still feel good about giving them to my child. At .16/oz (subscribe & save price) they are only slightly more expensive than buying applesauce cups at the supermarket.
I would definitely recommend the GoGo Squeeze for an excellent on-the-go snack. If you're staying at home, I'd suggest trying Mott's "Healthy Harvest" Peach Medley or Summer Strawberry. My son loves those too.
